Another attraction for many travelers to Bhutan is the
pristine environment. The World Wildlife Fund has named
Bhutan as one of the 200 Biodiveristy "hotspots"
on Earth. With a vast array of flora and fauna, Bhutan
is a naturalist's paradise. Flower enthusiasts are drawn
to Bhutan in the late Spring when the magnificent stands
of rhododendron are in bloom. These flowers are orchids,
a common sight in lush forests of Bhutan.
